Students who are new to the Alliance Française but who have taken French courses before or have spent time in a French speaking country must take an informal placement test at the time of registration. This test can be done in person during registration or can be taken online, by clicking on the AF Frames logo. In order to ensure a more accurate placement, the online placement test will be followed by a quick interview with a French instructor who will recommend a class.
